for a chemical peel if you:

  • Have active cold sores, herpes, or infections in the treatment area

  • Are using Accutane (Isotretinoin) or have used it in the last 6-12 months

  • Have a history of keloid scarring or poor wound healing

  • Are currently undergoing radiation or chemotherapy

  • Have allergies to peel ingredients (e.g., salicylic acid, glycolic acid, etc.)

  • Are taking medications that increase skin sensitivity (e.g., certain antibiotics or retinoids)
